WILLIAMSPORT — An 18-month old boy who was abducted by his father Thursday morning was recovered safely on Friday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m., Williamsport Police cancelled an Amber Alert that had been issued when A’dryn Drummond was taken by his father Johnnie Drummond III, 27, formerly of Williamsport.
The Williamsport Sun-Gazette reported on its Web site that the child was dropped off on the doorstep of a home in rural Lycoming County. Johnnie Drummond turned himself into police later Friday.
