SUNBURY — A city man was jailed on drug charges for allegedly selling $340 worth of marijuana to a police confidential informant.
Christopher Allen Byers, 19, of 134 N. River Ave., Sunbury, is accused of setting up a drug buy and selling 2 1/2 ounces of marijuana for $340 near his home Sept. 5 and 6, Point Township police said.
Byers was arraigned before District Judge Robert J. Bolton on charges of felony criminal use of a communication facility, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
He is being held in Northumberland County jail in lieu of $90,000 cash bail.
