STATE POLICE AT MILTON

Charged. Andrew DeHart, 51, of Watsontown, charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol at 9:30 p.m. June 5 at Bowersox and Golf Course roads in Turbot Township, Northumberland County.

Theft. June 9 to June 16. West Valley Road in Valley Township, Montour County. Alfred Rockwell, 61, of Danville, told police that someone took four car batteries and two tractor batteries from his property. The tractor batteries were cut from tractors with a sharp cutting device, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Milton.

Theft. June 15-16. Tee to Green Golf Center in Cooper Township, Montour County. Someone took extra yellow-colored rubber baseballs not being used in batting cages. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Milton.

Found property. June 5. Route 44 west of Route 15 in Gregg Township, Union County. A pair of Jacob Gunn eyeglasses were found. The owner can contact state police at Milton.

One-vehicle crash. 8 p.m. Wednesday. Creek Road just east of Route 235 in Hartley Township, Union County. Driver: Emily M. Kline, 21, of Middleburg. Police said Kline was traveling east on Creek Road when her 1999 Subaru Outback went out of control on a curve and traveled off the road. The front passenger side of the car struck a tree then overturned onto its roof. Injuries: Police said they did not know if Kline or a passenger, Quinn R. Loudy, 19, of Middleburg, sustained injuries.

Theft. 11:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday. Parking lot at Big Lots, Route 15 in Kelly Township. Samantha Confer of Millmont reported that someone took a purse from her vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Milton.

Attempted burglary. 10:50 p.m. Tuesday. Yonkin Road in White Deer Township, Union County. Phillip Ingerick of New Columbia reported that somone used a tool to pry open a side door on his garage. The suspect then fled in a vehicle, heading north on Yonkin Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at Milton.
