SHAMOKIN TOWNSHIP - State police are investigating a bizarre break-in at a Northumberland County home in which a 50-year-old woman was tied up by a burglar, who left without taking anything.
Troopers said that the unidentified Shamokin Township woman encountered the burglar in her home around 6 a.m. on Friday. Police released few details about the attack, including exact location. The victim did not need medical treatment, police said.
