— SUNBURY - City police are investigating the theft of a rifle from a pickup truck parked in the area of South Third Street.
The rifle is an Alpine brand, 30-06 caliber, made in England with a light brown stock. The serial number is: P005500.
Anyone with information about this stolen rifle is asked to contact Cpl. Jaime Quinn at 286-4584, Ext. 125, or the Northumberland County Emergency Services Dispatch Center at 988-4539.
