SUNBURY — For a second time since July, Chief Shikellamy Elementary is listed among low-achieving schools based on combined math and reading scores in Pennsylvania System of School Assessment tests, according to a 2013-14 compilation released late Friday by the state Department of Education.
However, there was good news for the Shikellamy School District: Grace S. Beck Elementary, which with Chief Shikellamy made the first list released in July, is not on the latest tally.
Also absent Friday was Midd-West High School, the third of three Valley schools on the state’s list in July.
