DANVILLE — Two lanes of Route 54 in Valley Township were closed Thursday at about 12:50 p.m. after a vehicle carrier flipped on its side, ejecting a tan Escalade. Also on its side was a GMC Sierra pickup truck which was also being hauled.
There was damage to the back of the pickup truck connected to the carrier.
The driver was identified as John Robert Warren of Missouri.
State police at Milton said Warren was turning left from Route 642 onto Route 54 when the load shifted.
Warren wasn't reported to be injured.
Assisting at the scene were the Valley Township Fire Company, Liberty Township Fire Company, a Danville ambulance and fire police.
