TURBTOVILLE - A 27-year-old Turbotville woman remains in critical condition this morning at Geisinger Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon near Turbotville.
Erin Skeans was transported to Geisinger by medical helicopter following the head-on crash at about 12:40 p.m. Friday on Route 44 between McEwensville and Turbotville.
A hospital spokeswoman said this morning that Skeans remains in critical condition.
The other driver, Kristy McNett, 34 of Watsontown, was initially admitted to Geisinger in serious condition, and her condition has now improved to fair.
State police at Milton said Skeans was driving her 1989 BMW sedan south on Route 44 when she lost control of the car. The vehicle crossed the road and collided with McNett's Chrysler minivan, police said.
