HARRISBURG — A youth leader at a central Pennsylvania church is behind bars charged with having sexual contact with a girl over the last three years, starting when she was 12.
Twenty-six-year-old Joshua Markelwitz was arrested Friday on charges including rape of a child and aggravated indecent assault. Investigators say some of the sexual contact happened at the church where Markelwitz met the girl.
Markelwitz, of Enola, is being held on $750,000 bail.
Police say the church is cooperating with the investigation. Authorities say they're trying to determine if there are other victims.
