Selinsgrove women involved in fatal crash Sunday morning in Centre County

CENTRE HALL - Two Selinsgrove women were involved in a two-vehicle collision Sunday morning in Centre County that resulted in the death of an 84-year-old woman from Centre Hall.

The Selinsgrove women, Erin Jenkins and Morgan Botdorf, both 20, were treated for minor injuries following the crash that killed Sara Stover, 84, of Centre Hall.

State police said Stover was stopped on Tusseyville Road at about 10:50 a.m. when she attempted to turn left onto Route 45 westbound. The woman apparently failed to see a car carrying the Selinsgrove women, which was traveling east on Route 45. The elderly driver pulled onto Route 45 into the path of the eastbound car, police said.
