LEWISBURG — What the two managers of a Kelly Township spa did not realize is that the three men who allegedly were offered happy endings after receiving massages were undercover troopers from the state police barracks in Montoursville.
The sting operation, which began July 17, netted the arrests of Soon Chung Park, of 781 Sixth St., Lyndhurst, N.J., and Duk Ye Coker, 1706 Belair Drive, Junction City, Kan.
The 63-year-olds are accused of managing a house of prostitution and face other charges, including the promotion of illegal sexual activity taking place at their business, Rainbow Massage & Spa, at 36 Silvermoon Lane.
The bust went down after three undercover cops, who received late-night massages between July 17 and July 22, were solicited for sex acts by their massage girls.
The massages cost $70. The sex acts ranged from $50 to $140 extra.
A search warrant was executed July 23 and documents were recovered showing that Park was the owner of the business.
When questioned by police, Coker claimed that she only worked for Park and denied any knowledge of sexual activity at the spa. She said she had no idea what the massage girls did in the room.
She said it was only Park who collected money from the girls.
All charges were filed at District Judge Leo Armbruster's office in Lewisburg.
This wasn't the first time employees at the Rainbow Massage & Spa had been busted for prostitution.
Two years ago, spa employee Yong C. Son, also known as "Candy," was arrested and charged with illegal sexual activity. Son, who was named in the current police complaint but not charged with any violation, apparently continues to work at the business part time as a masseuse.
