LIVERPOOL – Details are sketchy about a road rage incident along Route 104 near Routes 11-15 that left a Mifflinburg man shot in the face.
State police charged a 36-year-old Shermans Dale man with criminal attempted homicide Saturday.
Police allege Christopher Michael Rapp shot the unidentified 56-year-old Mifflinburg man in the face about 3:40 p.m.
They said the two men were driving on Route 104 when Rapp allegedly pulled out a .22-caliber handgun and shot the other man in the cheek. The victim was treated for major injuries to the face, police said.
Rapp is also charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangering.
